Ouzoud Waterfalls Private Excursion from Marrakech
Depart in the morning at 08:00 am, in the direction of Fes. We will make a stop in a place on the way to have tea, before arriving at the Berber village of Ouzoud. A village which gives the same name to the waterfalls (waterfalls of olive trees in Berber). The waterfalls of Ouzoud are about 110m high, on three landings, of the oued Ouzoud, which is 1060m of height in the Middle Atlas. This vast site is an important Moroccan tourist place, situated at 150km in the northeast of Marrakesh. These waterfalls, considered among the highest and the most beautiful of Morocco and often dominated by a rainbow, are situated in a rural green valley of red stoneware, planted by olive groves, almond trees, fig trees and other carob trees, or a dozen young mills of traditional oil, still in activity. This protected touristic area is quiet, natural, and completely pedestrian. It proposes numerous campsites with huts made of bamboo and reeds, places of bathing, small terrace, restaurants with Moroccan food, and handicraft shops along a pedestrian alley, which takes you to the bottom of the waterfall. You will also see some groups of free monkeys. After the visit of the waterfalls, you will have lunch, and then back to Marrakech. Return arrival around 7.30 pm.
